Client: LOCAMENTE IN COLLABORATION WITH MFFF – MADRID FASHION FILM FESTIVAL
Objective: Seeing such a great turn out at Madrid World Pride inspired us to organise an informative and fun day about Voguing, a dance that is much more than ‘just a dance’. The movement came out of the New York underground scene between the 60’s and 80’s. The objective was to bring it to the modern-day public.
Action: Image + Online communication strategy + Press + Influencers + Street Marketing + Production of the even at Teatro Barceló.
The day began with the conference ‘Voguing and gender identity’, an exhibition and screening of the documentary “Strike a Pose” in the concept store El Paracaidista.
Teatro Barceló hosted the second part of the event, with a ‘Ball Party’, a mix of a party and a dance competition with international judges that left the attendants wanting more and more Voguing.
